Are all apartments on this page already verified?
Yes. Every apartment and room listed here has been checked by OISW NGO for ownership, contract legality, and landlord reliability. You can request it confidently — no additional checks are needed.
Do I pay OISW or the landlord?
You pay directly to the landlord. OISW never handles rent or deposits — we only verify the listing and ensure the process is transparent and safe.
What if something goes wrong after I move in?
If you experience a problem (deposit, contract, or living conditions), contact OISW immediately. Our legal team will review your case and provide free guidance or representation if necessary.
Can I book an apartment before arriving in Riga?
Yes. Once you request a verified apartment, we confirm the availability with the landlord and prepare the contract draft so you can safely book from abroad.
What’s the difference between “Verified Apartment” and “Verified Room”?
Verified Apartment → a whole flat for one or more students (studio, 1–3 bedrooms). Verified Room → a private room in a shared student flat. Both are legally checked and rented directly from landlords.
